In this course, you’ll receive close, expert instruction and guidance from veterinary ophthalmologists who are excited to help you enhance your ocular surgical techniques.
You’ll learn and practice how to correct the ocular injuries and related anomalies you commonly see in your patients, as well as identify which patients may benefit most from referral. You’ll focus on:
- Correcting entropion
- Reconstructing eyelids
- Replacing a prolapsed gland of the third eyelid
- Achieving linear grid keratotomy
- Creating a modified conjunctival advancement graft
- Performing enucleation and providing superb perioperative pain management

How to Register for a Clinical Techniques Course
Clinical Technique Courses are open to all CVC veterinarians and technician attendees as indicated in the description. They require a separate registration fee, which is listed in the description. Clinical Techniques Course participation requires at least a one-day CVC Virginia Beach registration in addition to the course fee. All participants must sign and return a liability release form.
