KC Barbeque Tour
Kansas City has more barbeque restaurants per capita than any other city in the nation. That's why, with more than 100 restaurants, it was difficult to select only four barbeque joints for you to sample. Your tour starts at Arthur Bryant's, founded in the early 1920's, then you'll head to Gates, established in 1946, and then finishing off the afternoon in two other barbeque joints with a strong local following.
SeaLife Aquarium at Crown Center
Seize your opportunity to visit Kansas City's newest attraction: SeaLife at Crown Center! A special VIP tour, led by an aquarist. will take you through this $15 million exhibit, featuring 30 displays of diverse marine life and 5,000 creatures. The highlight of the tour is the tropical ocean tank, where you can walk through an underwater tunnel while fish swim above. Following the guided tour, you'll have a chance to explore the exhibits on your own before enjoying lunch at Milano's, a landmark Italian eatery.
