In this hands-on Clinical Techniques Course offered only at CVC, you'll review and practice indispensable veterinary orthopedic surgical approaches and procedures: femoral head ostectomy; shoulder, elbow, and hock osteochondrosis treatment; ununited anconeal process treatment; cancellous bone harvesting; and femoral placement of an IM pin with a type 1 external skeleton fixator tie-in.  During the lecture presentation you will review the indications, techniques, and postoperative care recommendations.  Then with ample hands-on surgical time to perform the procedures, you will take home the skills you can use to improve outcomes for your patients that require orthopedic interventions.
