CE Credit Information
The 2013 CVC San Diego program has been submitted (but not yet approved) for a maximum of 39 hours of credit for veterinarians in full attendance and 30 hours of credit for technicians over four days in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB’s RACE approval. General four-day attendance earns veterinarians 32 hours of CE and technicians 27 hours of CE without the purchase of any Clinical Techniques Courses or Ask the Expert Luncheons. Each state’s licensing board will consider the program; check with your state’s board for the number of hours it approves. Some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education. To record your CE hours, certificates of attendance will be included in your registration packet. (Texas and North Carolina veterinarians see below.)
Texas & North Carolina Veterinarians:
Track your CE! Veterinarians licensed in Texas or North Carolina must track each seminar hour attended with a CE checklist. When you arrive, pick up the checklist at the tour and information desk and sign in on the sheet provided. Before you leave CVC San Diego, return your completed checklist to the onsite Registration Desk and sign out on the sheet provided. A CVC staff member will verify your hours and give you a signed CE Certificate of Attendance. Don’t leave without your certificate —we can’t mail it to you! Call (800) 255-6864, ext. 6, for more information.
