Veterinary Economics Progress in Practice seminars (Track 2): Think like a consultant about your own practice

Thursday, August 26, and Friday, August 27
7:30-8:30 a.m. — Registration and Breakfast
8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. — Seminar
Cost:
$674

In this two-day, highly interactive workshop you’ll have hands-on learning opportunities and be coached by two top veterinary practice management experts — Dennis M. McCurnin, DVM, MS, DACVS, and Karen Gavzer, MBA, CVPM.

You’ll learn to think like a practice management consultant. Using in-depth information from a real veterinary practice, you’ll evaluate the hospital’s finances, marketing strategies, leadership potential, and policies, and then create a plan to diagnose and treat the business. The method you learn will help you identify issues in your own practice and make smart, informed choices to improve it.

This workshop will put you in small groups where you work with your peers to analyze and make recommendations for the practice. In addition, you’ll take home ideas to help you understand the rules of pricing, consumer psychology, and value proposition.

Attendees will receive:

  • 14 hours of CE credit
  • A seminar proceedings book
  • Continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshments every day
