CE credit information

The 2011 CVC in San Diego program has been submitted (but not yet approved) for a maximum of 51.5 hours of credit for veterinarians in full attendance and 46 hours of credit for technicians over four days in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB’s RACE approval. General four-day attendance earns veterinarians 33 hours of CE and technicians 29 hours of CE without purchasing any Wet Labs, Ask The Expert Luncheons, or Dine with the Expert Workshops. Each state’s licensing board will consider the program; check with your state’s board for the number of hours it approves. Some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education. To record your CE hours, certificates of attendance will be included in your registration packet. (Texas and North Carolina veterinarians, see below.) Call (800) 255-6864, ext. 6, for information.

North Carolina and Texas veterinarians
Veterinarians licensed in Texas or North Carolina must track each seminar hour attended with a CE checklist. When you arrive, pick up the checklist at the tour/information desk and sign in on the sheet provided. Before you leave CVC in San Diego, return your completed checklist to the registration desk and sign out on the sheet provided. A CVC staff member will verify your hours and give you a signed CE Certificate of Attendance. Don’t leave without your certificate — we can’t mail it to you!
