The 2013 CVC Kansas City program has been submitted (but not yet approved) for a maximum of 52.5 hours* of credit for veterinarians in full attendance and 30 hours* of credit for technicians over four days in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB’s RACE approval. General four-day attendance earns veterinarians 32 hours of CE and technicians 27 hours of CE without purchasing any Wet Labs or Workshops or Ask The Expert Luncheons. Each state’s licensing board will consider the program; check with your state’s board for the number of hours it approves. Some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education. North Carolina and Texas Veterinarians
Veterinarians licensed in Texas or North Carolina must track each seminar hour attended with a CE checklist. When you arrive, pick up the checklist at the tour/information desk and sign in on the sheet provided. Before you leave CVC Kansas City, return your completed checklist to the registration desk and sign out on the sheet provided. A CVC staff member will verify your hours and give you a signed CE Certificate of Attendance. Don’t leave without your certificate — we can’t mail it to you!
