Animals with immediate life-threatening condition can be presented to your hospital at any time. Critical care specialists will guide you through procedures you might need to perform at a moment’s notice: Advanced airway access, oxygen delivery methods and respiratory assistance techniques, vascular access, long-term catheter placement, external CPCR, and thoracic drainage. You’ll practice these techniques on cadavers and gain confidence in performing the emergency procedures to save patients’ lives.
*Technicians will have observe-only status for some of the procedures*
Equipment and supplies provided by Butler Schein Animal Health, Covidien, Jorgensen Laboratories Inc, MILA International, and Spectrum Surgical Instruments Corp.
