Take your practice’s dental program to the next level. A technician specialist in veterinary dentistry will teach you the skills essential to identify periodontal disease and the correct techniques for a complete dental cleaning and polishing.  Perform dental charting and appropriate hand scaling techniques, use ultrasonic scalers and polishing handpieces, and practice with dental sealant compounds. Regional nerve blocks will also be covered in this lab.

Equipment and supplies provided by Butler Schein Animal Health, Dentalaire Products, iM3 Inc., Medical Illumination International, Merial, Midmark Corporation, Miltex Inc., Pfizer Animal Health, Summit Hill Laboratories, and Webster Veterinary Supply.
