Cats have surpassed dogs as the most-owned pet in the United States. Is your practice as feline-proficient as it could be? In this lab you'll spend the day with a feline practitioner who will taech you invaluable techniques for performing work-ups and treating cats.

YOU'LL LEARN THE INDICATIONS FOR AND HOW TO PERFORM:
• Esophagostomy tube placement for intermittent and trickle feeding
• Medial saphenous vein and intraosseous catheterization
• Urinary catheterization
• Bone marrow aspiration
• Intubation without a laryngoscope and (transoral) tracheal wash
• Percutaneous keyhole renal biopsy
• Sample collection for rectal cytology and Tritrichomonas foetus identification
• Blood pressure measurement using different types of monitors

THIS INTENSIVE HANDS-ON LAB WILL ALSO COVER:
• The ins and outs of calculating fluid therapy requirement quickly and easily
• A new way to administer subcutaneous fluids
• How to determine caloric needs for nutritional support
• Prescribing an exercise and dietary intervention program to treat overweight and obese cats.

You’ll receive:
