CE Credits

All CVCs: Every CVC program is submitted for credit in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB’s RACE approval. Every state’s licensing board will consider the program; please check with your state’s board for the number of hours it approves. Some boards limit the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrict the number of hours available through certain methods of CE delivery. To record your CE hours, please use the certificate of attendance included in your registration packet. Check the online map of CE requirements by state, or call (800) 255-6864, ext. 6, for more information.

Unless otherwise noted, practice management courses may be applied toward the CE requirement for the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) program offered by the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association.

Veterinarians licensed in Texas must track each seminar hour attended on a CE checklist. When you arrive on site at any CVC, please visit the Tour & Information Desk to sign in and pick up your checklist. Before you leave the CVC, you must return your completed checklist to the Registration Desk and sign out on the sheet provided. A CVC staff member will verify your hours and give you a signed CE Certificate of Attendance. Don’t leave without your certificate – we can’t mail it to you.

2014 CVC San Diego: The CE program has been approved for a maximum of 39 hours of credit for veterinarians in full attendance and 35 hours of credit for technicians over four days in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB’s RACE approval. General four-day attendance earns veterinarians 32 hours of CE and technicians 32 hours of CE without purchasing any Clinical Techniques Courses or Ask the Expert Luncheons. Each state’s licensing board will consider the program; check with your state’s board for the number of hours it approves. Some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education.
